Deviled eggs
COOK TIME 30 min
Ingredients
- 1 dozen eggs
- 2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard
- 1/3 cup of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of minced onion or shallot
- ¼ teaspoon of Tabasco
- Salt and pepper
- Paprika and/or capers
Directions
1. Hard boil the eggs.
2. Let eggs sit for 10-15 minutes before peeling.
3. Slice each egg in half lengthwise.
4. Remove the yolk and place the yolks in a mixing bowl.
5. Mash the yolks and all of the remaining ingredients together.
6. Carefully fill the whites with the yolk mixture.
7. Sprinkle each egg with paprika or capers.
