If you are gluten intolerant or have been diagnosed with celiac disease then you may be having some concerns about your diet not containing enough nutrients and vitamins to benefit your baby’s health.   • Celiac disease is more common in women.
  • Pregnant women that are not diagnosed or have untreated celiac disease have a higher rate of miscarriage.
  • Untreated celiac disease increases the chance of miscarriages, low birth weight and other poor pregnancy outcomes.

Celiac disease is a serious condition when it comes to pregnancy so make sure you have received all necessary blood tests, as they will indicate whether you are suffering from the condition or not.
