Turkey bolognese

Ingredients
- ¼ cup of extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 1 peeled and finely chopped carrot
- 1 finely chopped celery stalk
- 1 pound of shredded cooked turkey
- 3 Â cups of marinara sauce
- ¼ cup of chopped, fresh basil leaves
- Salt and ground black pepper
- 1 pound of spaghetti
- Freshly grated parmesan cheese
Directions
1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
2. Add the garlic and onions and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
3. Add the carrot and celery, sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
4. Add the turkey and sauté for about 1 minute.
5. Add the sauce.
6. Decrease the heat to medium-low and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring often.
7. Add in the fresh basil.
8. You can season the sauce to taste using the salt and pepper.
9. Add to the cooked pasta and toss the sauce with the pasta to coat the noodles.
10. Add the cheese on top.
