11 weeks pregnant: your body

This is the eleventh week of the first trimester of your pregnancy. This week you are probably feeling hungry, which means your morning sickness is decreasing and your appetite is increasing. But don’t go overboard on the food, you should only gain between 25 -35 pounds steadily throughout your pregnancy.

Pregnancy symptoms

It is important to maintain your pregnancy diet. Don’t overindulge as you may begin to get heartburn and indigestion.

Remember: You should be doing 25 kegels a day! Lie on your back and squeeze like you need to pee and release. Kegels will help strengthen your pelvic floor and tone your vaginal area to make labour easier.
