Baby proofing shopping list
Most parents won’t have to worry about baby proofing until their baby is about 4 months old. This means you can either get everything you need now and store it for later or you can wait until you actually need the baby proofing equipment before you buy it.
Here’s a list of the baby proofing equipment you will probably need, however what you need to baby proof will depend on what your home is like and how you have decorated it. So feel free to make adjustmentsto this list as necessary.
If you have stairs in your home, gates are a must.
- Gates for the top and bottom of the stairs
- Cabinet and drawer latches
- Outlet covers
- Fireplace bumper
- Furniture anchors
- Toilet lock
- Corner guards for low tables
