Oven roasted asparagus

Ingredients
- 3 pounds of fresh asparagus
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 minced garlic cloves
- 3/4 teaspoon of salt
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- ½ cup slivered toasted almonds
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Cut off the tough ends of the asparagus.
3. Place the asparagus on a lightly greased baking sheet.
4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt and pepper.
5. Bake for 10 minutes or until the tenderness is to your preferred taste.
6. Place the asparagus in serving dish and sprinkle with almonds if desired.
